What is the difference between a nonspecific and specific response?
You can compare the non specific defense or response to a CPR student who happens to be on the site when an accident happens. You can compare a specific response to a doctor or surgeon, someone who knows what he is doing with big and dangerous situations. The non specific have an all around general knowledge and are not specialized to kill all the bacteria that come into the body. Sort of like the CPR who just keeps the person in the crash alive until professional assistance comes to take over. The specific defenses create special antibodies to destroy the invader, sort of like the doctors and surgeons while in the hospital.
